Handwritten copy of will of John Pearson of Rowley (Massachusetts) dated September 27, 1775. In it, he leaves a sum of money to his "Beloved Sister Hannah Stevens" and his "beloved sister Huldah Pearson". After his debts and funeral fees are paid, he wants the rest of his estate split between his brother, Daniel Pearson, his sister, Sarah Plumer, his sister, Martha Mussey, and the above two named sisters. He names Captain Joseph Poor executor of his will. John Pearson was born in 1753 and died "in the Army" (according to Rowley, MA vital records) on September 28, 1775. Bookseller Inventory # 016167
