Autograph Letter, Signed, to Mrs. Long .

Dated Dartington, April 8, (no year but before 1859). Apologizing for the trouble, but he specifically told London to send the books to him and they instead wound up with Mrs. Long, a long-time friend, Froude and her husband William Long, later the Mayor of Bath, had met as students at Oxford.
