18 Temple Row, Birmingham, 6 May 1870. Oliver Pemberton (1825-1895) trained in medicine and eventually became Professor of Surgery at Queen's College. After contributing as an expert medical witness in various legal cases he served as the City Coroner for Birmingham in the 1890s. He was apparently a very well-known figure in Birmingham and was elected onto the council for St Stephen's ward in 1879.
