Dated Edgewood, Sept., 1895, politely responding to an autograph request. Tipped to a larger sheet, which also bears two newspaper portraits of Mitchell and numerous autograph hound annotations. Mitchell was a writer and editor, best known for his "Reveries of a Bachelor", 1850, written under the pseudonym "Ik Marvel". A Very Good note.
