4 1/2" x 3" piece of stationery headed, "The Autograph Collection of Howes Norris, Jr. "With collector's notation at top of paper, "Dec. 6, 1937" and "G. P. Thomson". With sentiment and signed by G. P. Thomson, "With warm remembrance of American hospitality. G. P. Thomson." Thomson was a British physicist and Nobel laureate in physics recognized for his discovery of the wave properties of the electron by electron diffraction. It is noteworthy that he was the son of Nobel Laureate J. J. Thomson. Two very tiny piece of tape on verso from mounting. Seller Inventory # 31528
