Awakening

On the day he graduates, Emiya’s world burns.

Raised in the ancient sanctuary of Alta with nothing but an old Guardian’s seal and the sensei who saved him, Emiya never expected his quiet life to end in blood. When the Legion attacks Gula, he is rescued by the legendary Guardian Shiro and taken to Saffron—where only the strongest survive the trials to become Guardians themselves.

Inside the stronghold, Emiya finds something he’s never known: belonging. A home. A bond that could become more. But the power awakening within him is tied to an ancient prophecy—one that promises salvation or catastrophe.

As Nempherous schemes in the shadows and enemies rise from both within and without, Emiya must decide who he is willing to become—and what he will sacrifice to protect the family he has finally found.
