8vo. Light red-orange cloth with gilt titling and black stamped embellishments to spine and front board. Spine slightly sunned and cocked, with split to cloth at rear joint. Few small holes to cloth of front joint. Indentation to both boards at bottom edge. Discoloration and mild foxing to eps, interior toned but clean. Previous owner's name in ink to verso frontispiece. Black and white illustrations throughout. The controversial account of an alleged conspiracy involving sexual abuse and infanticide within a Montreal convent, written by a former nun, and suspected to be an anti-Catholic hoax.
