I’M NOT BAD!

I’m Not Bad
By Timi Dunlap

Have you ever been called something that didn’t feel true but stayed with you anyway? For many children, being labeled “bad” can shape how they see themselves. But what if we could rewrite the narrative and see children for who they truly are—curious, bold, and wonderfully made?

I’m Not Bad is an inspiring story that challenges us to think differently about the words we use and the impact they have. Through relatable storytelling and vibrant illustrations, Timi Dunlap invites readers of all ages to see children through a lens of love, patience, and understanding.

This book is for every misunderstood child and every parent striving to parent with grace. It’s a reminder that children are learning, growing, and deserving of words that build them up, not tear them down.

Join Timi and her son Khalil, the inspiration behind this story, as they remind us all: “You’re not bad—you’re beautifully made.”
