Baking powder had become a highly profitable product, with more than a hundred manufacturers springing up across the country. To win over home cooks still devoted to their old recipes, these companies published their own cookbooks and promotional pamphlets. Here, General Foods focuses on their "double-action" baking powder to sell Calumet Baking Powder to the public. Light stains on a couple of pages. Covers rubbed at edges. Red illustrated wraps. Very good.
