"With illustrations by the author, Mrs. Butler (Miss Elizabeth Thompson), George Du Maurier, John Collier, H. Furniss, G.G. Kilburne, M. Fitzgerald and J.P. Atkinson." Original cover has been wrapped in vinyl shelf paper, black with white/green marbling. Title taped to spine. Original spine was beginning to separate from binding, so when you open the book you can look inside at old spine. About 3 pgs. have blue crayon light scribble. Toning to pages is mild. Lower page block has faint water stain to front edge area. Many illustrations on most pages. Because of binding displacement, the pages stick out past the front cover about 1/4".
