Official programme for the match at Cardiff Arms Park, 27th January 1973. This was the most famous of all Barbarians games against the touring sides. In what was seen as a rematch between the All Blacks and the 1971 British Lions, Gareth Edwards scored one of the most famous tries of all time in the first few minutes of the game. The rest of the game lived up to the start and it was crowned by an equally brilliant try from J.P.R. Williams in the second half. Barbarians won a famous victory 23-11. Lightly rubbed.
