THE BASICS: Figuring Out Life (Before It Figures You Out)

Are the Decisions You Make Today Building the Life You Want Tomorrow, Ten or Even Thirty Years From Now?

School teaches us how to solve equations, write essays and occasionally dissect a frog. But very few of us are taught how to build a life. And yet every life is built, day by day, one decision at a time.

Using the metaphor of building a house, THE BASICS takes you through your Foundation (your character), the Rooms of your life, from health and wealth to relationships and career, and finally the Design of the life you dare to envision.

Because life doesn’t happen in isolated pieces. Neither does this book. Each chapter builds on the last, asking: Who am I? What does my life look like today? Where do I want to go from here?

It’s about taking an active part in shaping your future, understanding yourself better, recognising what matters to you and building the clarity and confidence to make more deliberate decisions. The kind you won’t need to undo later.

With practical ideas, real-life examples, tools and plenty of humour along the way, read it from beginning to end, write all over it, or simply find that one idea that makes something click.

Because every life is built. The question is whether you’re building yours by design … or by default.
