About the Author
This is Jack Henke's second book on Oneida Lake. He has previously authored two editions of "Sylvan Beach--A History" and, in addition, has penned "Lawyers and the law in New York", a commemorative history for the New York State Bar Association's centennial. Henke received his bachelor's degree from Hamilton College and his master's from Brown University. He has lectured at numerous historical forums throughout Central New York. Currently, he thoroughly enjoys teaching social studies at Brookfield Central School and, of course, revels in Oneida Lake's marvelous Summers.
