Books One and Two: Blue , yellow stapled card with black lettering, Book One marred only by a couple of partial cup rings to back. 32 pp. inc. t.p., no text after t.p. only pages of examples of repeated letters or short words in black, green and red, 7 lines per page; small faint tanning dot bottom pages 1-4 and small crease across bottom outer corner of one leaf, some marginal squiggles on one opening (see image 7); Book Two as Book One but marred by black marks to lower front, and some green squiggles recto back cover; Teachers' Book: black printed grey card, f/piece + 64, numerous ills of various kinds throughout, a fes marks to front, black marks top back + red 'tom' in childish hand bottom inner corner, internally generally clean but a few minor marks. Text by Fairbank verso fr. covers on the Beacon Writing series and pub.list of series recto back cover. Intended as teaching material for children learning to write. 16.5 cm x 22 cm.
