Discover the Big Idea of God’s Word for Yourself
BIBS (Big Idea Bible Study) is a suite of devotionals designed to take you through many books of the Bible with depth and clarity. Each devotional guides you step by step with daily instructions and space to write, helping you engage directly with Scripture.
At the core of BIBS are the three timeless steps of Bible study:
Observation – What does the text say?
Interpretation – What does God mean?
Application – What does this mean for me today?
Unlike most devotionals, BIBS doesn’t water things down or just give you a verse and a thought. Teens—and adults—are capable of serious Bible study when they are challenged. BIBS equips you to think deeply, uncover the big idea of each passage, and apply God’s truth to your own life.
The BIBS Devotional Book combines daily in-depth study of short passages with weekly overview readings to keep the big picture in focus. With fill-in-the-blank sections, journaling space, and clear prompts, you’ll develop the habit of hearing from God through His Word.
Why BIBS? Because God’s Word is rich, alive, and sufficient. The Bible is not a random collection of verses—it is full of God’s ideas, solid “rocks” of truth waiting to be discovered and lived out.
Start your journey today, and learn how to love, understand, and apply God’s Word for yourself.
