About the Authors:

Catherine Baker is an editor, consultant and writer specialising in children's reading development throughout the Primary years. She has worked in educational publishing for over 30 years, and has written over 50 books for children and teachers.

Beatriz Castro is a professional illustrator. Growing up in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain, she was inspired by the natural world around her, to draw and write fantastic stories. She is passionate about animals and books, mystery stories and enjoys listening to music. She lives with her husband and their three dogs, León, Greta and Loba.
