Broadsheet, 12 x 7 1/4 inches. A few minor chips, several stabholes along the left margin, tanned. Good. A "slip bill" printing of an 1818 act directing the President "to select and locate a position suitable for a national armoury, on the western waters, for the purpose of fabrication small arms of any kind, that may be wanted for the service of the United States." The bill appropriates $60,000 for construction, calls for the appointment of three officers in charge, and places the armory under the supervision of the War Department.
