BIRTHED IN TEARS: THE STORY OF His Nesting Place

From humble, but ordained beginnings; through many tears and sacrifice, we became a unique and thriving home for mothers who made the hard and sacrificial choice to keep their unborn babies. We would also become a safe place for many other women, and children, too. We would live up to its name—His Nesting Place—a refuge under God’s wings (Deuteronomy 3:11).

This oasis became and remains a “home” in the middle of North Long Beach, California. Birthed from a tiny church that took upon itself the same name and mission goals, helped women and children one-by-one (helping and housing 1,000s as well as helping to save over 10,000 babies from being aborted).

This long-awaited story details the conception, labor, and birth of this special commission, and some parts we’ve documented are being told for the very first time. We pray you will truly see just how much God loves these precious women who had nowhere else to go, how God loves the babies still in the womb that do not have voice, how He loves the little children that would be taken care of by a community of love, and how this could only be a work of God’s miraculous grace, protection, and provision.

This is not about what two people have done for God, but rather what God did through two ordinary people who answered His call and said: “Here we are, Lord; use us!” This is how we became, and still are, “Missionaries to the unborn.”
