Small 8vo (170 mm); 150 pp; with four coloured plates of alphabetical and numeral flags used in naval signalling, eight plates of diagrams explaining the semaphore alphabet, and two photographic plates demonstrating artificial respiration. Original blue cloth boards, slightly rubbed, with lettering to the front, now a touch faded.
