Dennis was an "American illustrator and writer known primarily for his paintings of dogs" (Wikipedia); he illustrated at least a dozen books in the 1940s and 1950s and was well-known commercially for his etchings of dogs. For an article on Dennis, see Fred Frankel's article at "Artists of Old Florida," online. Matted glazed and framed. Very good.
