Brown Cloth Boards with gilt title and circular dec to front board, Landscape format 140x220mm approx. xix + 89pp + 2 of publisher's adverts. 2nd Edition of Morgan's Book of Almanacs first published in 1851. Portrait of the author taken from another publication pasted to reverse of front end paper. Good (Book- A neat repair to the binding has been carried out by reinforcing the spine with blue cloth and the internal hinges with a linen backed adhesive tape. Although not a conventional repair it is effective. Original cloth is shelf worn at extremities with boards exposed at corners. Instructions for the use of the almanac printed to front paste down and name of a previous owner and date 1896 in ink to front end paper. Paper of book block tanned with a few light foxing spots to last signature. No other notable defects). Pl;ease see our image of the actual book offered for sale.
