Octavo, unpaginated. In Very Good minus condition. Bound in modern full black goat with gilt tooling to boards and spine. Light plus rubbing to lower edges of boards. Light marking to boards and spine overall. Text block edges stained red, now faded. Text block shows light plus age toning and light scattered staining. Tightly trimmed, particularly at lower margin, in some cases resulting in loss of catchword or even partial loss of last line of text. "The Book of Common Prayer" is fully rubricated and contains 50 engraved plates, including frontispiece. Frontispiece and first subsequent plate cut and remounted to new leaves; multiple archival repairs, most notably to title page and to several pages in signature C. Title page with several additional unprepared short closed tears to upper and lower edges; subsequent two leaves with short closed tears to fore edges. Scattered ink annotations.
