Victorian binding by Leighton Son and Hodge, their small printed ticket on rear pastedown, gilt lettering and blind raised images to covers and spine, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Binding rubbed, especially the upper hinge, corners slightly worn, slight shelf wear to edges, ink inscription on blank free endpaper, a good copy.
