A prayer book in a very attractive, straight grain Morocco binding, heavily gilt decorated, gilt to the front and rear boards, extensive gilt to spine and turn ins; binding firm. The title page to book of Common Prayer dated 1779; illustration and title page to A Companion to the Altar; title page to Psalms of David 1787. Internally clean and tight, very slightly trimmed with no impact on the text or columns, matching marbled endpapers, faint neat name to the first front blank, Mrs Farmer, Lawrence Weston, then to second blank in attractive ink pen Susannah Farmer, Lawrence Weston, no further markings. A very attractive copy. Size: 10 x 17cm.
