Printer: Clay & Sons at the University Press for the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, London. DATE: No date but the date on the prize label, as seen in a photo, shows 'March 17th 1899'. The Table of Moveable Feasts at the front of the book shows 1895 - 1920 which confirms the date of c. 1899. Unpaginated. CONDITION: A sound binding with all pages securely bound in. The dentelle (decorative gilt pattern) around the inside of both front and rear boards, is bright and very attractive. Attractive bright gilt page edges. The blue ribbon marker is present and bound in but has loss at the end of it. Bright, clean interior with no brown spotting through the text. There is only a little showing on blank endpapers. Weight: 324 grams unpackaged. Prompt, well packaged despatch. Sent with 'Royal Mail Tracked 48' within UK. Reasonable international rates.

Books ordered will be despatched in secure packaging on receipt of payment. If payment is made by cheque or postal order, these can be accepted in GBP sterling only. If it is required by the purchaser, and where it is possible to do so, insurance can be arranged at the purchaser's cost. It is our standard practice to obtain certificates of posting for all items that we send. It is our policy to accept the return of an item provided that it is sent back to us in the same condition, within seven days of receipt, the return postage being payable by the purchaser.
