Illustrated with a fine color frontispiece of trout and salmon flies, and color and b&w plates. 9.25" x 11.5". 174 pp. Green cloth, sun faded spine (typical of this binding), with a nice ink angling inscription from a previous owner on endpaper. Chapters by Van Dyke, Radcliffe, Skues, Ransome, Greenslet, Griswold, Parker, Calderwood, Moore, Turing, Plunket Greene and others on fishing for salmon, trout, sea trout, black bass and coarse fish in North America and Europe. "No man who has travelled with a fishing rod finds himself able to travel happily without one". Internally fine, covers faded but very good.
