These twenty four views on engraved plates with descriptive text on a separate page are bound in an original card cover with titles in a decorative frame. Proof impressions some pages of smaller size. The title page is the List of Plates with instructions. i.e they are the Fourth part to illustrate the Third volume of Magna Britannia and are to be placed in the following order. The views are :- Nottar Rock and Bridge; Carclase Tin Mine; Rocks at Landsend; Tabbin's Hole Rock; Roche Rock and Hermitage; Falmouth from Trefusis; Fowey; Penryn; St. Michael's Mount East, North and South View; Carnbre Hill from Redruth; St. Ives; Polperro North and South View; Launceston; Pouton Bridge; Lostwithiel: East and West Looe; Mevagissey; Pentilly Castle on the River Tamar; Saltash; Tintagel Castle and Truro. Each plate has a tissue guard and the following page has descriptive text. Overall condition for age is very good. The title page has a crease. some sporadic foxing mainly to borders, Fowey plate has heavier foxing than other views. Brown card cover in good condition, some marks and a light crease to top corner Size -295mm. x 430mm. (oblong folio).
