Jos� Fabio Rivas (Algarrobo, M�laga, 1952) es m�dico psiquiatra y ha sido Director del �rea de Salud Mental del Hospital Regional Carlos Haya de M�laga hasta su jubilaci�n, actividad que ha simultaneado siempre con la pr�ctica de la literatura. Es articulista, narrador y poeta. Ha publicado cinco novelas, la �ltima de ellas, Mester de monos (la involuci�n), publicada en esta misma editorial. Tiene en su haber varios premios y distinciones a su labor literaria. La m�s reciente ha sido la concesi�n del Premio de Poes�a Ateneo-Universidad de M�laga por estos mismos poemas que ahora se publican.
