Original pressbook for the 1957 film noir 'The Burglar,' based on the 1953 David Goodis novel of the same name. One of Goodis' bleakest novels, which he solely adapted for the screen. Director Paul Wendkos turned the screenplay into one of the greatest heist films ever made, starring Dan Duryea, Jayne Mansfield, and Martha Vickers. The pressbook contains casting information, a plot synopsis, black and white stills, extensive advertising examples, and a few hilarious ideas for theater staff to pull off as gimmicks to promote the film. 8 pages, saddle stitched, measuring 12 X 16 inches. About Fine, with just a touch of light edgewear to note.
