No date but neat gift inscription dated 1918; the plates are dated 1909. 95 pages + adverts; 8 full-page colour plates (all present and correct), artist not credited. Red cloth boards with decoration and gilt lettering, colour on-lay to the front board; binding very good with a little general wear and light rubbing to edges, corners slightly knocked. Contents clean and tight, patterned end papers. A very good copy. Part of the Nelson's Fireside Library. Size: Large 8vo (15.5 X 19.5 cm).

We are taking a break while we re-locate ourselves and business. We move to a peaceful stretch of the River Lynher. We specialise in fine antiquarian and second-hand books with a strong interest in Natural History, particularly the New Naturalist Series.
