Framing label of Dino De Biasi,New Cavendish Street, framer to many top artists like Patrick Proktor and Graham Sutherland Gilt deliberatley distressed for effect,white edges. Yellow mount and frame of 'box type construction half an inch deep under glass. Picture 24 inches by 12 inches approx. Peter Farmer artist and illustrator.From the art collection of Bryan Foebes,English film director,screen writer,novelist and film producer.The picture,possibly,a character from a play? Work by Farmer is hard to find on the open market. The Redfern Gallery,founded in 1923. It has been at the pinnicle of the British art establishment showing the new work of artists like Henry Moore and Barbera Hepworth. COLLECTION ONLY DUE TO BOX FRAME CONSTRUCTION UNDER GLASS.
