Introduction in the form of a poem by E. Nesbit, and a poem by George MacDonald. Contains eleven colorful chromolithograph illustrations by Harriett M. Bennett. Not dated, but since the longhand entries recount the First Steps and other accomplishments of a child born in May, 1895, 1894 is a good guess. A very good copy, in color-illustrated boards backed in cloth. Light soil to covers and wear to extremities. Internally near fine, with neat notations in ink. Family names: Pettigrew; Sisson.
