About the Author
Dr. Carole Keim MD (formerly Gedenberg) is a board-certified pediatrician from Boulder, CO. She received an undergraduate degree in Biology at Colorado College, and went to medical school at Palacky University in the Czech Republic. She spent one month of surgical training in Finland, and three months as a medical volunteer in Argentina. She has spent the past decade broadening her medical knowledge by studying holistic, complementary and alternative medicine. Dr. Keim worked as a family practice intern in Southern Colorado before completing her pediatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center (a large trauma center) in East Meadow, NY. After residency, Dr. Keim worked in Pediatric Urgent Care in Lindenhurst, NY before moving back home to Boulder, CO to start a private practice. Her practice is called Doctor At Your Door LLC, and she makes house calls for pediatric patients 0-18 years old who live within half an hour of Boulder, CO. She also teaches Western Pathology to students at the Southwest Acupuncture College. Dr. Keim is fluent in Spanish and Czech and is a black belt in taekwondo. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, playing piano, and spending quality time with her family. She lives in Boulder, CO with her husband and children.
