Baby Tom Can't Run Left Hand Drive Edition (Sidewalk Children)

Baby Tom and his family live in the town of Linden on Harmony Avenue, near the Hi Hey Highway. These Sidewalk Children storybooks offer important insights and skills to help young children explore their world safely. As Baby Tom and his sister Scout are always naturally curious, they often don't realise the dangers that sometimes occur in their homes and neighbourhood. Baby Tom Can't Run is charming, engaging story that young children adore reading on their own or with their family. In a very busy and very fast moving world, The Sidewalk Children series of stories will help our children learn important life skills which we ourselves so often take for granted. In this story the children learn how to be careful and safe near traffic and busy roads.

Scout loves running... and she loves to run very fast. This is a story about putting your best foot forward and becoming a winner, especially when everything unravels! Scout is starting Kindy School and is training for the Kindy School Carnival. One day when she flies out the front door Baby Tom follows her very close to the fast moving Hi-Hey Highway! Through this joyful and charming tale, Baby Tom and Scout discover the six things that will help keep them safe... as they cross the many turbulent roads of life... in a fast moving world, where everyone is in a hurry.

"Children love to read and to be read to, and the structure of Baby Tom Can't Run is perfect for both. It is a beautifully illustrated and engaging story which gives children insight into the world around them, and also increases their awareness of how to keep themselves and others safe. Further, it teaches children dispositions for learning which will support them throughout their school years and beyond. I highly recommend Baby Tom Can't Run to parents and educators.
