This is a charming collection of 12 bound issues of the publication "BABYLAND" in hardcover book form. 1892; D. Lothrop Company; Boston. The book is comprised of the 12 issues from Volume XVI, No.'s 1 through 12. There are illustrations and/or photographs on nearly every page. The issues contain short stories and poems. Nicely illustrated chromolithograph front/back covers and frontispiece. Condition: Chipping of the paper along the edges of the spine; worn corners. Light soiling to the covers. There is a crack at the front and rear hinges between the end papers and pastedowns exposing the webbing (despite the cracks, both covers are firmly attached and are not shaky). Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean and white with only and occasional light smudge found; there is a 1" tear at the outer edge of page 59. Overall the book is in Good- condition.
