A very nice book with an owners inscription on the cover verso dated Christmas 1919. The jacket is missing it's entire spine and other smaller areas of loss. An excellent copy in the remains of a jacket. Illustrations by Jessie Wilcox Smith. Laid in is a notice regarding the local PTA dated 1920. The notice has yellowed a portion of one page where it has been for a century.
