LISA FOSTER has been writing as long as she can remember. She was introduced to journalism in high school and discovered a career path for her interests. She began writing for the school newspaper, which opened a door to a position at Irmo Independent in Irmo, South Carolina. After completing a master's degree in mass communications at the University of South Carolina, she was hired by the ColumbiaState-Record newspaper.
