Bad Day Sunshine

Bad Day Sunshine is for any kid who's ever had a bad day at school - which is just about every kid.

In this sweet and inspiring story, four kindergarten-age children use simple acts of kindness to help each other overcome what can feel very isolating - having a difficult day at school and feeling all alone. The book offers children narrative examples of how easy it can be to bring sunshine into someone's cloudy day. Even if it's just by saying "Hi" or "Would you like to play?"

It also provides parents and teachers with a great discussion starter that encourages children to share their feelings about how to make days at school friendlier and more inclusive. For every child yearns to be a good friend and to receive friendship in return.
