Not So Bad (Pine Ridge Universe)

Jasper Wainwright is one of Pine Ridge's most eligible bachelors. He has a Hollywood smile, thick hair that could launch a thousand shampoo commercials, and he looks like Superman's shaggier brother. So why does love always seem to evade the sexy werewolf?

Well, sometimes you just have to let good things come to you. At least, that's what Jasper tries to tell himself as he stares down another Halloween night-alone.

Loretta is very good. So incredibly good. She's been the perfect wife, so it makes no sense that she can never seem to please her abusive husband. Maybe it's the long hours he works. Maybe it's the drinks that are becoming more frequent. Maybe it's because her body is flabby after the arrival of their daughter.

But maybe Halloween is the perfect time to take a risk and escape from his tight web of control. But where can a desperate Red Riding Hood and her bundle of sweet joy go to escape a monster who is becoming ever more unhinged?

Why, into the arms of a big, not-so-bad wolf, of course...

Not So Bad is a short, steamy modern twist on Little Red Riding Hood set in the Pine Ridge Universe.
