The cover is the familiar red hard cover with embossed impressions of traditional wrought iron hinges. It is darker red and very bright. The binding is very sound and the covers are in excellent condition. There are 32 pages of advertisements, giving an interesting insight into travel and hotels at the end of the nineteenth century.
