1889. Longmans Green & co. Fifth edition. A Hardback in Very Good condition. Original brown pictorial cloth with lettering in black and gilt. Patterned endpapers. Frontispiece illustrated in colour and 53 handsome black and white wood engravings. Bumping and scuffing to spine and extremities. The spine and page block remain tight and firm. Mild spotting throughout, otherwise pages are unmarked. Previous owners' names etc. neatly and bookplate. Overall a nice copy in Very Good condition. A handsome volume which is now protected by a removable archival cover. Seller Inventory # Blh
