Very nice copy of the volume, with many full page illustrations as well as those within the text by G.D. Giles, Frank Dadd, J. Stuart Allan along with photographs. Minor edge wear to head and foot of spine along with some minimal spotting and rubbing to covers. Save for some slight browning to page edges, no marks to the text pages. A thorough examination of the riding culture of the time, along with its colonial connections. 434pp.
