Bailey and Love*s Short Practice of Surgery

Building on the firm foundations of the past 22 editions, this is a very thorough revision of this classic textbook. All sections have been revised and updated; in particular the chapters on trauma, orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery and maxillofacial surgery have been extensively rewritten under the direction of the new co-editor Professor Christopher Bulstrode. New chapters have been added on the role of radiology in surgical practice, principles of laparoscopic surgery, clinical trials and statistical research, and surgical ethics.

The book's high standing and reputation for unambiguous advice makes it the first point of reference for many undergraduate and postgraduate students. This comprehensive text will also be of use to practising surgeons.
