The original newspaper, disbound from a folio. 8 3-column pp. on laid paper, vg-; there are a few lt. brown stains, a thin waterstain along the left margin, and creases from having been folded in sixths. Remarkably bright and easily read. An editorial by 'Obed', an account of Louisiana (at that time this meant the entire Louisiana Purchase), and a number of reprints from other papers. Clever woodcuts and rules accompany the beginning of each column. The obituary column is called 'The Knell'. Seller Inventory # 9118
