It consists of five pages of lithographed handwritten verse followed by eight lithographed plates and is the story of evil Lord Llewellyn, who goes to considerable homicidal trouble to raise the Devil ("But he swore that the pleasures of life he would spurn all / Could he compass a sight of his Highness Infernal") only to be disappointed in the end. An amusing jeu d'esprit from one noted for "the spontaneity of his fun-loving high spirits" as well as the depth of his religious conviction.
