Very Good+: shows little discernible wear, but the backstrip has been rather heavily sunned and the top edge of the panels has blanched a bit as well (the gilt titles at the backstrip are still bold and bright, but the blanching to the backstrip has lessened their visibility somewhat. The front panel and its titles are unaffected). The binding remains square and secure; the text is clean, though the pages have tanned slightly, due to aging. A flawed, but handsome copy: structurally sound and tightly bound: clean, sturdy, presentable, despite the sunning. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Large Format 4to. vi, 258pp. Libretto by Antonio Somma. Translated by Peter Paul Fuchs. Ed. 2233. Green cloth over boards with gilt titles at the front panel and backstrip. Decorated Endpapers. Hardback: Lacks DJ.
