Screenprint, 11 x 13.75 inches, on sheet, 15 x 18 inches. Printed in black, pink, white on cream. 'Balustrade' was a ballet choreographed by Balanchine with music by Stravinsky, first performed in 1941 in New York with Tamara Toumanova, Roman Jasinsky and Paul Petroff. Paul Tchelitchew (1898-1957) was a Russian-born surrealist painter and set and costume designer with worked closely with Sergei Diaghilev and George Balanchine. A near fine copy. Slight soiling at top and bottom edge of shet with mild surface scuffing. Seller Inventory # 291988
