About the Author

CATHY WENTWORTH is a first-time author who has traveled the world collecting stories as she encountered amazing people from different cultures. She is passionate about connecting through these unexpected moments. With this story, she hopes to give readers an understanding of a faraway place and a sense of similarities in their own lives. Before turning to writing, she was a teacher, winning the Christa McAuliffe Fellowship for Illinois, and is in the Who's Who in American Teachers.
