The Fine Bamboo Fly Rod: A Master's Secrets of Restoration and Repair Kirkfield, Stuart

Book by Kirkfield, Stuart

*The Fine Bamboo Fly Rod* by Stuart Kirkfield has become world renowned as THE BIBLE of bamboo rod restoration since it was first published in 1986. The first edition has become a highly prized collector's item with copies selling for hundreds of dollars the past few years through rare sporting book dealers. Many people interested in acquiring a copy have been forced to do without because of the high price and scarcity of the first edition. People have even reported copies missing from public libraries.

So many bamboo rod collectors have been clamoring for the publication of a second edition that The Cork & Cane Press has now made this book available once again at a price that is much more affordable. The highly guarded and long sought information bringing to light all the processes required and secret techniques of the masters are now available once more.

All those anglers who appreciate and revere the lovely and magical bamboo fly rod, and dream of bringing back to vibrant life those old and precious treasures that once belonged to an earlier era will now have the elusive knowledge at their fingertips.
