Just unboxed your Bambu Lab X2D and have no idea where to begin? Struggling to understand dual-nozzle printing, AMS HT filament loading, or why your first layer keeps lifting off the bed? Confused by Bambu Studio's settings, intimidated by calibration, or unsure which filament to use for which project?
You are not alone — and this book was written specifically for you.
The Bambu Lab X2D is one of the most capable consumer 3D printers ever built. But capability without knowledge is just expensive frustration. This guide gives you the knowledge.
Here Is Everything You Will Find Inside:
- A Complete Unboxing and Setup Walkthrough: Never set up a printer like the X2D before? No problem. This guide walks you through every step of the unboxing sequence — from removing shipping hardware in the correct order, to installing the touchscreen, auxiliary extruder, exhaust fan bundle, and spool holders — with enough detail that nothing is skipped and nothing is assumed. You will power on your X2D for the first time knowing exactly what to expect.
- Wi-Fi, Bambu Handy App, and Bambu Cloud Connection: Learn how to connect your X2D to your home network, bind it to your Bambu Lab account, set up the Bambu Handy app on your smartphone, and choose intelligently between Cloud mode and LAN mode — including the trade-offs of each and when to switch.
- Filament Science for Real Results: Understand the difference between PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, Nylon, and Polycarbonate — not just their names, but their printing temperatures, moisture sensitivities, mechanical properties, and ideal use cases. Learn how to load filament through the AMS HT correctly, how to load directly when needed, how to set up accurate filament profiles in Bambu Studio, and how to store and dry filament properly so it never degrades sitting on a shelf.
- Bambu Studio from Zero to Confident: A complete guided tour of Bambu Studio — every toolbar, panel, viewport control, and menu explained clearly. Learn how to import 3D models, orient and scale them correctly, configure supports and adhesion options, select the right process profile for each job, preview your sliced result layer by layer, and send print jobs to the X2D over Wi-Fi with full confidence in every setting you have chosen.
Bonus Section — Pro Tips, Hidden Features, and Power-User Shortcuts:
- Hidden Bambu Studio features most beginners never discover
- Speed tuning with the real numbers that work
- Flexible and exotic filament settings that actually work
- Multi-color printing with the AMS HT
- Remote printing, time-lapse setup, and AI failure detection
- Batch printing, file organization, filament inventory, and workflow efficiency

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
